Stoplist is a Shopify app that refuses checkout to buyers you have blocked: the ones who filed a chargeback, used a stolen card or keep abusing returns. They are stopped at checkout, before they pay, instead of being cancelled after the order.
- Block from the order: on any order, More actions > Add to Stoplist blocks its buyer’s email, phone and shipping address in one go.
- Block chargebacks automatically: turn it on, and the buyer of any order that gets a Shopify Payments chargeback is blocked.
- Or add them by hand: an email, a phone number or an address.
- However they type it: capitals, dots and
+tags in Gmail addresses, phone numbers with or without the country code, “Street” or “St.” all match. - Every checkout: blocked buyers are refused on the checkout page and on express checkouts such as Shop Pay, with your own message.
- The billing address is never blocked: with a stolen card it belongs to the cardholder.
