Kitstock is a Shopify app that keeps a bundle’s stock at what its parts make, at every location. A bundle is an ordinary product of yours, a gift set, kit or multipack, made of products you also sell or stock on their own. Sell a bundle and its parts come off; sell a part and every bundle using it follows.

Your bundle stays your product: its own SKU, images, price, options, shipping and sales channels. Nothing is added to your storefront or checkout.
Parts and quantities: pick the bundle’s product and its parts, and how many of each one bundle takes. A part can be in several bundles, and a part can be a product you don’t list, such as packaging.
See it before it starts: each bundle shows, per location, what it has now, what its parts make and what starting would set. Nothing changes until you click Start syncing. Bundles already put together can be counted into their parts instead, once.
Sales, refunds, restocks and edits: a bundle sold, refunded with restock or adjusted moves its parts by that many times their quantity; a part that moves sets each bundle using it to what the parts make. Orders for a bundle and its parts at the same moment both come off.
Per location: a bundle is worked out at each location from the parts stocked there, and is 0 where one of its parts isn’t stocked.
Every change logged: the Changes page shows each sale or edit and what Kitstock moved.
Pause, resume, remove: pausing stops all reading and changes. Resuming previews each bundle again first, so nothing sold meanwhile is replayed. Removing a bundle or uninstalling leaves your stock as it is.

A bundle can have up to 20 parts.

Good to know

The bundle and its parts need “Track quantity” on in Shopify. A bundle can’t be a part of another bundle.
Kitstock changes stock figures only: products, prices and orders are left as they are.
Bundles made with Shopify Bundles work out their own stock, so they can’t be added.
The Changes log keeps 30 days.
