Rollback is a Shopify app that keeps a history of your products and collections and lets you put any of it back yourself, from inside your Shopify admin.
- Every change is saved: a new version of a product or collection each time it changes, whether the edit came from your staff, an import, a bulk editor or another app.
- See what changed: each product’s and collection’s history shows what changed and when, field by field.
- Undo just what went wrong: undo one edit, or a single field of it, and leave the rest of the product as it is. Or restore a whole earlier version.
- Bring back deleted products with their variants, options, images, metafields and stock, on the sales channels they were on.
- Put the whole catalogue back as it was at the end of a chosen day. Manual collections come back in their own order.
Good to know
- Stock levels aren’t part of the history: restoring a product leaves its stock as it is now. A deleted product comes back with the stock it had when its last version was saved.
- Shopify deletes a product’s images along with it, so Rollback keeps its own copy of each image and a deleted product comes back with them. Videos and 3D models can’t be re-uploaded and are left out.
- Smart collections come back without their conditions, which you set again in Shopify.
