CaptionFill: Captions & Cross-References - Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Spyridon Pikoulas, who makes CaptionFill, an add-on for Google Docs™. Installing or using CaptionFill means you accept them.
The service
CaptionFill adds figure/table captions, linked references and lists in the current document, including numbering across nested tabs. Inspect and preview changes before applying them, and check the result before publishing or submitting your document. CaptionFill manages its own tracked objects; it does not infer the meaning of arbitrary plain-text references, promise exact rendered page numbers, or automatically migrate undocumented tracking from other add-ons.
An unfinished Apply can be resumed. Abandoning it keeps visible edits already made rather than undoing them. Removing CaptionFill tracking keeps visible text and native bookmark links but ends automatic maintenance. Google’s service limits and availability apply to free and paid use.
Free plan and the one-time unlock
The free plan allows 10 tracked caption targets per document. Updating existing captions, references and lists remains free when the creation limit is reached. Creating additional targets requires the $9 one-time unlock for the Google account shown in CaptionFill, plus any tax shown at checkout. It covers unlimited target creation across that account’s documents, subject to Google’s technical limits. It has no scheduled expiry, subscription or automatic renewal.
Payment is through Stripe. The unlock belongs to the Google account used to buy it, rather than to every collaborator on a document. Existing visible captions and links remain in your document if you uninstall CaptionFill. A full refund or disputed payment removes the paid unlock; existing reference maintenance remains free.
Any payment can be refunded within 14 days: write to the address below with the email you paid with.
Your part
Use CaptionFill lawfully, within Google’s terms, and in documents you have the right to edit. Do not try to bypass the creation limit or plan check. Keep a version you can restore when making important document changes.
Warranty and liability
CaptionFill is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for CaptionFill in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms or prices. A later price change does not charge an existing one-time buyer again for the unlock they bought. The date above shows the latest version. Danish law governs these terms.
