ChartFill: Sankey, Pareto, Box Plot & Gantt Charts — Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms are between you and Spyridon Pikoulas, who makes ChartFill, an add-on for Google Sheets™. Installing or using ChartFill means you accept them. ChartFill replaces SplitFill on the same Google Workspace Marketplace listing.

The service

ChartFill draws a Sankey, Pareto, box plot, funnel, Likert, Gantt or calendar heat map chart from cells you select, up to 5,000 rows and 26 columns, shows it in the sidebar, and on Insert puts it in the same tab, two columns right of those cells, as a picture. The preview is the picture that is inserted.

A picture does not follow your data: when the cells change, the chart stays as it was until you click Redraw in ChartFill’s list of charts. Redraw reads the same cells again and puts the new picture in place of the old one, at its place and width. A redraw needs the cells’ tab, and the chart’s alt text, which holds its settings, as ChartFill wrote them.

A chart shows what ChartFill reads in the cells: a Pareto chart’s 49 largest categories, with the rest summed as “Other”; a box plot’s quartiles as Sheets’ QUARTILE.INC works them out, with whiskers to the furthest values within 1.5 times the box’s height and the values beyond them as points; a Sankey chart refuses flows that go round in a circle. Rows it cannot read, such as a missing number, are left out and the sidebar says how many. Check a chart before you rely on it or pass it on.

Splitting a sheet into tabs, which SplitFill did, ends with this version. The tabs SplitFill made stay in your spreadsheets.

Free use and the one-time purchase

Every chart’s preview is free and unlimited. Each Google account gets 3 charts free in total: one chart is one click on Insert or Redraw that puts a chart in the spreadsheet. Inserting the same chart again after its reply was lost uses none.

After that, ChartFill is a $9 one-time unlock per Google account for unlimited charts, paid through Stripe at the price shown before you pay, plus any tax due. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Google’s service limits apply to free and paid use.

Any payment can be refunded within 14 days: write to the address below with the Google account email used for the purchase. A full refund or dispute removes the unlock when a later billing check finds it; checks are normally cached for six hours, so this is not instant.

Accounts that bought SplitFill get ChartFill unlocked, or a refund on request.

Your part

Use ChartFill lawfully and within Google’s terms, with data you have the right to use. A chart shows your data to everyone who can open the spreadsheet: share it as you would the cells themselves. Don’t try to get around the free limit or the purchase check.

Warranty and liability

ChartFill is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including decisions based on a chart ChartFill drew, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for ChartFill in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may change these terms or ChartFill’s price. A new price applies to future purchases. The date at the top shows the latest version. Danish law governs these terms.
