CloudFill: Word Cloud for Slides, Docs & Sheets — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms are between you and Spyridon Pikoulas, who makes CloudFill, an add-on for Google Slides™, Google Docs™ and Google Sheets™. Installing or using CloudFill means you accept them. CloudFill replaces RandomFill on the same Google Workspace Marketplace listing.

The service

CloudFill counts the words in the presentation, document or spreadsheet you open it in, or in what you select there, shows them as a word cloud in the sidebar, and on Insert puts the cloud in the same file as a picture: centred on the current slide, at the cursor in a document, or beside the selected cells. The preview is the picture that is inserted. It reads up to the first 2 million characters, or 200,000 cells, and shows up to 300 words.

A cloud shows the words as CloudFill counts them: common words such as “the” and “and” are left out by a list for the language it detects or you choose, words are kept as written or changed to lower or upper case as you choose, and phrases are kept together only when you list them (or, in Sheets, when you count each cell as one entry). The biggest words are the most frequent; with Fill the shape, the words are repeated smaller to fill it, so a word’s size, not how often it appears in the picture, shows its count. Check a cloud before you rely on it or pass it on.

A picture does not follow your text: when the text changes, the cloud stays as it was. Make a new one and delete the old.

Filling cells with random numbers, dates, picks and passwords, shuffling rows and making teams, which RandomFill did, ends with this version. The values and tabs RandomFill wrote stay in your spreadsheets.

Free use and the one-time purchase

Previews are free and unlimited. Each Google account gets 2 clouds free in total: one cloud is one click on Insert that puts a cloud in a file. An insert that fails, or that the editor refuses, uses none, and inserting the same cloud again after its reply was lost uses none.

After that, CloudFill is a $9 one-time unlock per Google account for unlimited clouds, paid through Stripe at the price shown before you pay, plus any tax due. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Google’s service limits apply to free and paid use.

Any payment can be refunded within 14 days: write to the address below with the Google account email used for the purchase. A full refund or dispute removes the unlock when a later billing check finds it; checks are normally cached for six hours, so this is not instant.

Accounts that bought RandomFill get CloudFill unlocked, or a refund on request.

Your part

Use CloudFill lawfully and within Google’s terms, with text you have the right to use. A cloud and its alt text show words from your file to everyone who can open the file it is in: share it as you would the text itself. Don’t try to get around the free limit or the purchase check.

Warranty and liability

CloudFill is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including decisions based on a cloud CloudFill made, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for CloudFill in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may change these terms or CloudFill’s price. A new price applies to future purchases. The date at the top shows the latest version. Danish law governs these terms.
