DedupeFill: Review Duplicates for Google Sheets™ - Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Spyridon Pikoulas, who makes DedupeFill, an add-on for Google Sheets™. Installing or using it means you accept them.
The service
Choose a range with one heading row, the columns that identify duplicates, and whether to keep the first or last matching source row. Matching uses exact typed values: case and spaces matter, and text, numbers and booleans remain distinct. There is no trimming, fuzzy matching or merging. First/last means selected source-row order, not newest date or best record. DedupeFill refuses date-valued keys, source errors and ambiguous error-looking text. Blank-key rows require explicit approval to keep each separately. Selected hidden and filtered rows participate.
Review both partitions before explicitly creating two new tabs. The clean tab retains chosen rows; the discarded tab preserves the other rows with numeric original/retained source-row references. Every selected data row belongs to one output, in source order. Calculated values and number formats are copied; formulas become results and literal text stays literal. Leading zeroes already lost in the source are not restored. Fonts/layout, embedded links, notes, validation, conditional formatting, filters, hidden states and protection are not copied. Ordinary Sheets detection of plain URL text is permitted.
Source cells and existing tabs are not overwritten. Output tabs inherit existing spreadsheet access; they are not separately private files. Later source changes do not update them. Review the matching policy and completed pair before relying on it. Technical bounds, source-size safeguards and Google’s service limits apply to free and paid use; unsupported jobs refuse.
Supported bounds
Select up to 5,000 data rows plus one heading row, up to 20 source columns and up to 10 key columns. The two outputs together must fit 100,000 cells, including both heading rows and the discarded report’s two added source-row reference columns. These limits apply jointly; not every maximum-width input fits the paired-output cap. Oversized jobs refuse rather than silently dropping rows. Additional text safeguards and Google service limits apply to free and paid jobs.

Free jobs, retry and the $9 unlock
Two complete paired-output jobs are free in total per Google account, across spreadsheets. Only a fully written, verified and finalized pair counts as one job. Preview, refused and partial work use no free job. Completion and any free debit are recorded together. Paid jobs do not consume free jobs; an admitted job retains its starting allowance decision.
Stop takes effect after the current request, which may still finish. An interrupted reply does not prove failure. Choose the same unchanged source/options and Preview again to recognize and resume/reopen the latest pair without another debit. Missing, edited or renamed output, changed source or choices, and ambiguous ownership can refuse recovery. Earlier output rows are not repaired or overwritten. Keep both outputs and the source until completion; INCOMPLETE names alone do not establish status.
A latest retry receipt has no automatic expiry. A different admitted job replaces a completed receipt; an unfinished one blocks a different job until completion or Forget latest retry receipt. Forget, after confirmation, removes recognition without deleting tabs, restoring usage or removing a purchase. Forgotten/replaced jobs cannot rely on free retry recognition. The $9 one-time unlock covers DedupeFill’s supported jobs within its technical limits for the account displayed in the sidebar, plus any tax shown at checkout. It does not unlock every collaborator’s account. It has no scheduled expiry, subscription or automatic renewal. Stripe handles payment; a full refund or disputed payment removes the unlock.

Your part
Use DedupeFill lawfully, within Google’s terms and only with data you have the right to use. Check the displayed account, range, keys, blank policy, first/last choice and completed outputs. Consider everyone with access to the spreadsheet. Do not bypass allowance or purchase checks.
Warranty, liability and changes
DedupeFill is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; total liability is limited to what you paid for DedupeFill in the 12 months before the claim. Non-waivable consumer rights remain.
We may change these terms or prices. A later price change does not charge an existing one-time buyer again for the unlock bought. The date above shows the latest version. Danish law governs.
