MarkFill: Highlight Words in Google Docs™ — Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Spyridon Pikoulas, who makes MarkFill, an add-on for Google Docs™. Installing or using MarkFill means you accept them.
The service
MarkFill highlights, in the document you open it in, the words and phrases on the lists you keep in its sidebar, each list in its own colour, and lists the words found with how often each was found and the suggestion you or MarkFill gave it. The suggestions are hints for you to follow or not; MarkFill never replaces a word.
A run changes only highlight colours. It first removes MarkFill’s highlights (text in one of the colours MarkFill uses) in the tabs it runs on, then highlights the matches. Text you highlighted in another colour is left as it is, and a match inside it is not highlighted. If you highlight text yourself in one of MarkFill’s colours, a run or Clear removes that highlight too. One run highlights up to 5,000 matches. Adding the sample writes a few paragraphs into the tab you are in, and only when that tab is empty. File > Version history in Docs shows the document as it was before any run, and restores it.
Free use and the one-time purchase
Each Google account gets 3 runs free in total. One run is one click on Highlight that highlights at least one match. Clearing, adding the sample, a run that finds nothing, and a run that fails before it is written use none.
After that, MarkFill is a $9 one-time unlock per Google account for unlimited runs. You pay through Stripe at the price shown before you pay, plus any tax due. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Google’s service limits apply to free and paid use.
Any payment can be refunded within 14 days: write to the address below with the Google account email used for the purchase. A full refund or a dispute removes the unlock when a later billing check finds it. Checks are normally cached for six hours, so this is not instant.
Your part
Use MarkFill lawfully and within Google’s terms. The lists you add are yours; add only words you may use. Don’t try to get around the free limit or the purchase check.
Warranty and liability
MarkFill is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for MarkFill in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms or MarkFill’s price. A new price applies to future purchases. The date at the top shows the latest version. Danish law governs these terms.
