NoteFill: Endnotes for Google Docs™ — Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms are between you and Spyridon Pikoulas, who makes NoteFill, an add-on for Google Docs™. Installing or using NoteFill means you accept them.
The service
NoteFill adds numbered endnotes to the document you open it in. It writes a reference number at the cursor and lists the notes under a heading at the end of the document, or of each tab. Each reference links to its note and each note links back. It renumbers the notes in the order of their references, converts the document’s footnotes to endnotes, and removes a note you choose.
Each renumber rewrites the reference numbers and the list of notes under its heading, and puts a bookmark at each reference and each note for their links. Docs shows these bookmarks as small blue markers while you edit. Anything you write after the heading stays with the note it follows. A note whose reference has been deleted is removed on the next renumber, and so is its text. Converting replaces each footnote with an endnote reference and moves its text to the list; NoteFill cannot turn endnotes back into footnotes. File > Version history in Docs shows the document as it was before any of these, and restores it.
Free use and the one-time purchase
Each Google account gets 10 notes free in total. One note is one note inserted, or one footnote converted. Renumbering, removing notes, going to a note, and an insert or conversion that fails before it is written use none. A conversion that needs more notes than are left is not started.
After that, NoteFill is a $9 one-time unlock per Google account for unlimited notes. You pay through Stripe at the price shown before you pay, plus any tax due. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Google’s service limits apply to free and paid use.
Any payment can be refunded within 14 days: write to the address below with the Google account email used for the purchase. A full refund or a dispute removes the unlock when a later billing check finds it. Checks are normally cached for six hours, so this is not instant.
Your part
Use NoteFill lawfully and within Google’s terms. Don’t try to get around the free limit or the purchase check.
Warranty and liability
NoteFill is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for NoteFill in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms or NoteFill’s price. A new price applies to future purchases. The date at the top shows the latest version. Danish law governs these terms.
