Combine tables from selected tabs into one reviewed snapshot in the same Google Sheets™ spreadsheet. Match columns by their headings, approve missing fields and keep source rows intact.
Two complete jobs free per Google account; $9 once for more. Refunds within 14 days. Preview and recognized retries are free. No subscription or automatic renewal; technical and Google service limits apply.
AppendFill is being prepared for Marketplace release. It is not available to install yet.
Review the combination before creating a tab
- Choose the source tabs, their order, one explicit range and one heading row per source.
- Review output headings and each source-to-output column mapping. Matching is exact; case and spaces matter. You can explicitly map differently named columns rather than silently guess.
- Approve each missing-field blank and any excluded populated column. Hidden and filtered rows require explicit inclusion; they appear visibly in the output.
- Create one new tab, with source rows appended in the chosen order and a Source tab column. Duplicates are retained. Your sources and existing tabs are not overwritten.
A snapshot, with useful values
Calculated values and number/date formats are copied; formulas become their results. Literal text stays text, including leading zeroes already present in the source. Missing fields become blanks. The output has one heading row; later source changes do not update the snapshot.
This is not a full sheet copy. Fonts/layout, embedded source hyperlinks, notes, validation, conditional formatting, filters, hidden states, protection and mixed rich-text decoration are not copied. Google Sheets™ may recognize plain URL text normally. There is no join, deduplication, cross-file access, sharing service or email delivery. New tabs use the spreadsheet’s existing sharing permissions; they are not separate private files.
Stop at any time; a retry of the same unchanged job continues it without using another free job.
Job limits
Each job supports up to 5,000 output rows including the one heading row (4,999 data rows), at most 20 source tabs and 20 selected columns per source, and up to 19 mapped output fields plus Source tab. The whole output, including its heading, must fit within 100,000 cells; these limits apply together.
Jobs near these limits can take several minutes; AppendFill works in steps and shows its progress.
Access and billing
AppendFill accesses only the spreadsheet where you use it. Google’s services do the processing; no AI or external spreadsheet-processing service receives your rows. Stripe receives billing email and payment information, not spreadsheet contents. The account shown in the sidebar owns its total free allowance and purchase; operations check that account.
