Marginshot: Screenshot & Markup — Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Marginshot is a Chrome extension made by Spyridon Pikoulas. This page explains its free plan, Pro purchase, purchase restoration and refunds.
The service
Marginshot captures web-page screenshots, provides local editing tools and exports images or PDF files. Some pages restrict capture, and complex or very large pages may not capture completely. Check your result before relying on or sharing it. Editable projects retain the original image; covering an area in an export does not erase it from the saved editable project.
Free plan and Marginshot Pro
The free plan includes unlimited original, unedited captures and ten new edited captures per local calendar month. A capture uses an allowance only on its first successful edited export or copy. Failed attempts, retries, additional formats and re-editing or re-exporting an already counted capture do not use another allowance. Reaching the limit does not remove your saved work.
Marginshot Pro costs US$7.99 once, through ExtensionPay and Stripe. It removes the monthly edited capture allowance. There is no recurring subscription charge. Restore a Pro purchase through Marginshot’s Restore a purchase option, using the email address you paid with through ExtensionPay.
Refunds
A Pro purchase can be refunded within 14 days. Write to spyridwn.pd@gmail.com from the email address you paid with.
Your data
Screenshots, editable projects and exported files stay under your control. Purchase verification uses ExtensionPay and Stripe. See the Marginshot privacy policy for local storage, clipboard and file exports, local allowance counts and payment information.
Your part
Use Marginshot lawfully and within the Chrome Web Store’s terms. Don’t try to get around the free plan’s limit or the purchase check. Capture, keep and share only content you have the right to, and take care with personal or confidential information in screenshots.
Warranty and liability
Marginshot is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It helps you capture and edit screenshots but cannot guarantee that every page or detail is captured correctly; review your exports and keep your own copies of anything important. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost images or data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Marginshot. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms or Marginshot’s price; a price change doesn’t affect a purchase already made. The date at the top shows the latest version. Danish law governs these terms.
